Amazing grandson

As you know, we, as grandmas, all know our grandsons are amazing. But I want people to know all young people are not self-absorbed.

My grandson, Aaron Allen, placed himself on the Gift of Life program and was a match for a 10-year-old boy who needed bone marrow to live. He was sent to WDC and tested and returned two weeks later to go through the process of giving his bone marrow for this dying child.

Aaron is 22, just graduated from WSU, and is amazing in himself; but what a giving thing to do. I am so proud of him, and hope others take his journey to help someone else in need.

With all the bad news around young people, I thought it would be nice to read a positive letter.
