Wild Card/Thursday — 6.1.17

I’m back from a whirlwind trip to central California in which I saw my niece married, with her cousin performing the ceremony, experienced Uber and AIRbnb for the first time, ate at a restaurant that included three Portuguese items on the menu (all with linguica), spent three hours in a traffic jam going 64 miles from the Oakland airport to our destination, and discovered that “American Graffiti” wasn’t filmed in Modesto, Calif.
