Hope for the better

The attack in Manchester was a culminating act that serves to further perpetuate the fear that we are all living in, where no one is safe. This is not at all the world that I envisioned being a part of when I was a young girl and it is the furthest thing from what I want for my niece and soon-to-be born nephew to live in. Please remember in these dark and deeply saddening times that there is good. Never stop fighting to protect that. Combine your outrage with your love and fight, speak. That is my wish for myself and for you all.

“It takes a great deal of courage to see the world in all its tainted glory, and still to love it” - Oscar Wilde
