A bittersweet time
Coeur d’Alene High instructor Bruce Twitchell does a good job summarizes the mixed emotions of many teachers as summer break approaches. He Facebooks :
“This time of year is always rough. It truly is bitter-sweet. A student asked me this morning if I am looking forward to school being out. Of course I am. But at the same time, no. All the kids that I have had the pleasure of teaching through the year I am going to miss. They really have become MY KIDS, especially some of the seniors that I have had the pleasure of knowing for 4 years. It does start to bum me out. But then I remember I get to sleep in almost every day if I want.”
Question: Do you look forward to summer vacation?
