DATaylor: Half IM has more energy

DATaylor (RE: Huckleberries hears …) : I was downtown for both events last summer and it seemed that the half Ironman had more energy and interest compared the full Ironman in August. Also apparently the timing of the full Ironman makes it less attractive to participants, many have already qualified for the Ironman Championship, and the Coeur d’ Alene Ironman is relative close to the Ironman Championship on the calendar also making it less attractive.
