Letter: Splashes of blue

In a letter to the Coeur d’Alene Press editor today, Chet Gaede of Coeur d’Alene writes:

I have lived in many places, but am proud to call Coeur d’Alene home because the lake and river are so beautiful. When we have out of town guests, we are sure to take them for a drive along Lakeshore Drive for a Splash of Blue. My 92-year-old mom is pretty much house bound but when she gets out she loves the ride along the water on Rosenberry Drive. That’s how she gets her Splash of Blue. And we love to dine out at Le Peep, Tony’s or the Cedars so we can have a meal with a Splash of Blue. All these beautiful splashes and we haven’t even gotten our toes wet …YET.
