County lawsuit misguided

So Spokane County commissioners (funded by you) have decided to sue the federal government (funded by you) to stop an economic development project that could produce 5,000 jobs for the Spokane community. Why do they not want the Spokane Indian Tribe to have the same opportunities as the Kalispel Tribe? Of course, the commissioners declined to comment.

While thousands of residents and businesses have to deal with the fallout from undrinkable water because of Fairchild chemical use, they get shown that three people know what’s best for them. Why aren’t the commissioners suing the federal government over that? Don’t worry, they say, Fairchild (also funded by you) is providing bottled water to Airway Heights residents.

Maybe the commissioners should stick to county governments’ primary goal: owning a racetrack.
