Coeur d’Alene School District picks Shipley to handle finance

Coeur d’Alene Public Schools has selected Chris Shipley, a CPA with 10 years of public accounting experience, to be the school district’s Director of Finance and Operations. Shipley will join the district’s administrative team as plans are being prepared for major school additions and renovations funded by a $35.5 million bond measure approved in March. He replaces Brian Wallace, who joined the district in 2015 and is leaving to be the chief financial officer at the Lakeland Joint School District in Rathdrum/Victoria Michael, Coeur d’Alene Public Schools.
