Some local R’s not happy w/Crapo, Risch

Seems some precinct committee members in the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee aren’t happy with the foreign policy stands toward Russia (that old commie country that conservatives loved to hate back when) by U.S. Sens. Mike Crapo and Jim Risch. In fact, some of the disgruntled Elephants mentioned the two conservative U.S. senators in the same breath as Democrats who are making it harder for President Trump to do the things that he needs to get done. The Central Committee discussed a resolution at its meeting last night, strongly urging Crapo and Risch to climb aboard the Trump’s Moscow Express when it comes to dealings with Russia. The resolution was tabled until the KCRCC’s July meeting. It reads in part:

Whereas, Idaho Senator Mike Crapo has recently authored a bill he calls the “Countering Russian Aggression and Cyberattacks Act of 2017”; and,

Whereas, Crapo’s bill strengthens the globalist “Davos Culture” position and weakens President Trump’s “America First” foreign policy; therefore,

Resolved, the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee strongly recommends that Senators Mike Crapo and Jim Risch re-examine their foreign policy orientations, and

Resolved, the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee urge Senators Mike Crapo and Jim Risch to reverse course and adopt an anti-globalist, “America First” foreign policy orientation.

Full resolution here.
