More snow in forecast

Looks like North Idaho will have to pry spring from winter’s cold, dead hands.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for snow in the region from 10 a.m. today to 4 a.m. Wednesday.

The forecast, as of Monday evening, is for snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches with 6 to 8 inches of snow in the mountains.

Snowfall intensity is expected to be moderate during the late afternoon and evening.

Roads are expected to be slushy and wet throughout the afternoon with snow accumulating on the roads by sunset making travel difficult/ Coeur d’Alene Press.
