Giveaway to hunters

When Alaska’s cruel and overzealous killing methods end up destroying the ecological diversity of our federal public lands, that we, the taxpayers own, you’ll have Rep. McMorris Rodgers to thank. She voted in support of H.J. Res. 69, and that means she voted for killing wolf puppies and mothers in their dens, scouting bears by airplanes and using cruel steel-jawed traps to make it easier for trophy hunters to decorate their walls.

This is egregious. H.J. Res. 69 is an extreme measure and a giveaway to trophy hunting interests in Alaska. It is also completely contrary to statutory requirements that wildlife managers work to conserve natural diversity on our public lands. The responsible and ethical hunters that I know are appalled that Rep. McMorris Rodgers has seen fit to give Alaska free rein to engage in these prehistoric practices.
