Guy blows stack over nose blow

On Facebook, media friend Brian Walker of Post Falls posts this comment:

“An elderly man (80ish) by himself blew his nose at his table at a fast-food place (Carl’s Jr on Appleway) the other day. When he did, a (middle-age) man who was with his wife a few tables away yelled at the elderly man to go to the bathroom to blow his nose. (And a few other comments.) The elderly man seemed to be taken back by the abrupt and loud response and said, “Sorry. I guess I should have turned my head.” But I don’t think that was the response the younger man wanted. What are your thoughts about this scenario?”

Question (from Brian): Was the younger man justified in telling him to go somewhere else to blow his nose if he hadn’t raised his voice?”
