Missy: Leaving abuser isn’t easy

Missy (RE: Victim Facebooked about domestic abuse ): This is heartbreaking! I left my abuser and am at the mercy of the courts to keep him locked away for as long as possible. This is exactly what I’m afraid of happening to me. My heart goes out to Kelly’s children, family and friends. I urge anyone in that situation to speak up immediately, as loud as you can!

EdeninCDA: This is a very, very, very serious topic that many choose to avoid. I was in an abusive relationship once - I moved to a different state to get away. Fortunately, he wasn’t as batshit crazy as others are - he never came after me. This can happen to ANYONE. Abusers don’t show their true colors right away… they suck you in.
