War is biggest worry

What worries me most about Trump? War, that’s what. This Steve Bannon character, who is not actually running the country, seems pretty close, thinks we’re in a “cycle” and therefore, time for another war. Easy for him to say, because in the recent history of the world, nobody who starts a war actually has to suffer in a war. They hang out in their “safe spaces,” i.e. bunkers, and let everybody else absorb the collateral damage.

Whose sons and daughters will be shoved into the cannon’s mouth? Not theirs. Who’s going to suffer most from terrorism, in large part invited by the careless militancy of the U.S.? Certainly not the current president or anyone remotely connected to him. And if civil war in America actually came to pass, as the far right seems to desire, who dies? Your family and neighbors, that’s who. Not Bannon’s or Trump’s, that’s for sure.

Individuals who get sadistic tingles from inflicting suffering on folks of different religions or skin colors – they are not normal. They are the racist, far right reflection of ISIS, right here at home. Normal people are partial to peace, and those people are pretty much everywhere. Even in Iran.
