Spokane job to Mexico

Trump praises Boeing for producing its airplanes totally in the United States. Unfortunately, he is being misled. Triumph Composites here in Spokane produces parts for Boeing aircraft and has been moving their work to Mexico. A large percentage of their work has already been transferred and much more is in the process of going.

Along with the move, over 100 family wage jobs have gone away with more job losses to come. This translates into the evaporation of taxes paid by those employees while Triumph collects tax breaks. Essentially, Triumph is being paid to send jobs to Mexico by Washington state taxpayers.

Isn’t this the exact thing Trump campaigned on by using Carrier, Ford and others as examples of companies transferring work to Mexico? Why is he ignoring this action happening to us in Spokane? Cathy McMorris Rodgers is our liaison between us and Trump, but she doesn’t take our message to him. Others and I have brought this issue to her and she refuses to address it.

I see over and over again how Rep. McMorris Rodgers fails the constituents in her district. I respectfully request her to act on this issue before it’s too late.
