Brannon: Poor turnout
County Clerk Jim Brannon tells Huckleberries that the turnout for the various supplemental levy elections and the Coeur d’Alene School District bond election is poor. “Maybe it’s the weather or the single issue on most ballots, but the turnout has been light,” Brannon said. Less than 10 had voted by noon in two Post Falls precincts.” Voting in the Coeur d’Alene School District elections, which featured a levy and a bond, were a little better. Jim’s wife was #48 to vote in Precinct 54 (Trinity Lutheran) Brannon encouraged voters to turn out and make a difference. Voting ends at 8 p.m.
