School districts vote on levies/bonds

Polls for supplemental levy proposals in the Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Lakeland, Kootenai and Plummer-Worley school districts will be open today from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Coeur d’Alene is also floating a special general obligation bond to voters, while Lakeland is also proposing a plant facilities levy.

A simple majority vote (50 percent plus one) is needed for the supplemental levies to pass. A super majority (66.67 percent) is needed for the Coeur d’Alene bond to pass. Fifty-five percent is needed for the Lakeland plant facilities levy to pass/ Coeur d’Alene Press . More here.
