The turnout was lousy — only 15.44% countywide (although probably better in Coeur d’Alene — but the results were fantastic. All 7 levies and Coeur d’Alene’s bond measure were approved easily. In 5 of the 7 elections, voters gave 73% to 79% approval. In Coeur d’Alene, the approval was 79% for the levy and 77.33% for the bond. All those who voted in school elections should take a bow for picking up the extra tab that the Idaho Legislature refuses to do. Here’s your Hump Day Wild Card …
