Car submerged in Lake CdA leads to citations

Earlier today, Coeur d’Alene Police Officers responded to the Third Street boat launch, near the Coeur d’Alene Resort, for the report of a submerged vehicle. Officers located a black (Audi) in the water. Officers and medical personnel found no one inside the vehicle. Officers contacted the owner of the vehicle, Casey W Samuels. Samuels admitted to driving the car into the lake, but didn’t have a clear explanation as to why the vehicle ended up in the lake. Samuels was issued a citation for Reckless Driving and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
