Fate of cannabis?
The newly appointed attorney general is an outspoken opponent of legalized cannabis. After the economic bump Washington has experienced because of legal cannabis sales, with so many individuals having invested their hard-earned dollars into establishing a new industry and the state investing its resources into devising a legitimate tax code and regulatory system in response to a popular vote, what are the chances he’ll come after Washington first?
Surely, the Washington state attorney general’s legal action against his boss’s travel ban won’t have anything to do with Sessions’ priorities, will it? Maybe our congressional representatives can use some of the free time they must have on their hands, now that we have a president whose executive orders trump separate but equal branches of government, to speak out about local concerns.
