GOP care unaffordable

It now seems clear: Republicans do not believe that the U.S. should guarantee affordable health care for all citizens.

A Republican bill is on the table to scale back government subsidies (sorry, now tax credits) to the point where many of us will not be able to afford it. Pay attention to this and make noise if you don’t like it, because it will essentially roll us back to where we were before the ACA, with the exception that costs have risen dramatically since then, so insurance will be even less affordable.

Listen to and study analyses of this plan (and any subsequent proposals). It will affect us all, making health care unaffordable for many of us, our friends and families. And pay attention to lawmakers’ responses to this question: Do you think U.S citizens should be guaranteed affordable health care, or should health care only be available to those who have the means to pay for it?

If you believe as I do, that we can and should provide affordable health care for all citizens, now is the time to speak up. We are a nation that takes care of each other when it matters, and it matters here.
