Huckleberry Friends: High water
The high water and flooding are only for the gulls — and ducks and geese. Mrs O and I encountered the giant brown dice with white spots Saturday evening at about this spot. The dice is gone. Sam Taylor says it has been moved to the Memorial Field/Education Corridor area. And the water is way higher today than it was Saturday evening. It was over the sidewalk and onto the Independence Point parking lot today. I encountered Post Falls Councilman Joe Malloy at this point, taking photos. In fact, there were several people taking photos along City Beach, Independence Point, where Mugsy the Moose is about to get his hooves wet, and the beach between Hagadone HQ & Independence Point.
