Funding for special education

Thank you for printing the March 12 guest opinion regarding special education. It is so important that funding be addressed on behalf of these kids, and they cannot advocate for themselves.

Included in my letter to legislators Andy Billig, Timm Ormsby and Marcus Riccelli was this: “The help for special education kids makes a huge difference in the long haul. If these kids can be self-sufficient they will not be an additional burden to the taxpayers. Please point this out to those who would disagree that a small amount early on will be very well spent.”
