Part of the problem

I was appalled by Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich’s blatant political remarks against President Obama and was interested to read Knezovich’s letter to Andrew Biviano, Spokane Democratic chair.

Ozzie doesn’t think publicly blaming President Obama for the current hateful state of our country and “emboldening people to hunt and assassinate” law enforcement officers is “divisive.” How can he claim to call for bipartisan community agreement to not “use or condone divisive words, tactics, intimidation, name calling, or violence?” His statement about Obama, in his opinion, is a fact that cannot be refuted. With such a divisive “belief that reaches to the core of my soul as to why our nation is so divided”, I see no room for Ozzie to work with anyone who disputes his “belief.”

Just who is part of the problem and not the solution?
