When did you become a Zags’ fan?

I became a Gonzaga Bulldogs fan during their golden run in 1999, when they advanced to the Elite Eight as a No. 10 seed, before being beaten by UConn, the eventual NCAA Tournament champion. I remember listening to a game on the radio as I was busy sizing up talent, as a coach, for a girls’ 9-10YO softball team. I went all-in on the Zags that year — and have never looked back.
