Amateur hour
I am covered by Medicare and Medicare Advantage, so I am not affected by this AHCA unless you also start playing with Medicare. However, I paid attention to this GOP proposal on how it might affect the general public. I must say that it puzzles me how the less educated public can understand this confusing act.
I graduated with an MBA from the University of Chicago, and I can perfectly understand what is going on: The old GOP approach of taking from the poor and giving to the rich is only part of it. Here I don’t even want to bother you by pointing out other obvious shortcomings like voluntary insurance coverage.
Because of eight years of uninterrupted Republican obstruction the ACA (Obamacare or was it really Romneycare?), the ACA was never the ideal solution, but it can be improved. I cannot comprehend how politicians can seriously try to sell this American Health Care Act to the less fortune and less educated who actually voted for Trump and the GOP.
I think AHCA really stands for Amateur Health Care Act.
