NIC hosts American Indian Week
North Idaho College is hosting a variety of events in honor of American Indian Heritage Week April 4 - 8. All events except for the April 8 Art Gourd Class are free and open to the public. For a complete schedule of the week’s activities, visit www.nic.edu/events .
Tuesday, April 4
The weeklong series of events kicks off with the lecture series “American Indian Voices: The Circle of Learning” with guest speaker Dr. Ed Galindo from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Siebert Building Room 209. The topic of this lecture will be ISTEM (Indigenous Science Technology Engineering Math) – “Speaking to Career Opportunities for American Indian Students.”
