Labrador insults female U.S. rep

It appears that U.S. Rep. Raul Labrador, R-Idaho, has gone from fighting with President Donald Trump over health care reform to insulting a female U.S. representative from Washington state. During a recent hearing of the House Judiciary Committee, Labrador reportedly told fresham Democratic Rep. Pramila Jayapal (pictured in photo from her congressional web page) to “learn how to read.” According to Rob Hotakainen and Lindsay Wise of McClatchy Washington Bureau, “Labrador made the remark when he objected to Jayapal’s description of President Donald Trump’s proposed travel ban as a ‘Muslim ban,’ saying it had nothing to do with religion.” BTW, Jayapal is the first Indian American woman elected to the U.S. House and a former Wall Street investment banker.
