Poll: 68% roots for Zags

• Thursday Poll: Sixty-eight percent of Hucks Nation roots for the Gonzaga Bulldogs, and a plurality of that number has rooted for them for a long time. 33 of 164 respondents (20.12%) said they were Gonzaga fans before the magical 1999 run that began GU’s 18 straight trips to the NCAA Tournament. 32 (19.51%) said they became fans during the 1999 season. 20 (12.2%) said they have been fans between 15-20 years. 13 (7.93%) between 5-15 years. 6 (3.66%) between 1-5 years. And 8 (4.88%) just jumped on the bandwagon. Meanwhile, 52 (31.71%) said they aren’t Gonzaga fans.
