And then there was one
A heavy equipment operator for Cannon Hill knocks down the next-to-last house that once stood along Park Drive, north of Memorial Field. All that remains is one house on the northern end of the slice of property, owned by the local urban renewal agency. The house on the last parcel already has been taped off for future demolition. Executive Tony Berns of ignite cda told Huckleberries that the land will be cleaned up after the final demolition to divide it into 10 parcels for future sale to private home owners. The money from those sales will be used for urban renewal projects elsewhere.
