Citylink transit center meeting today

A proposed Riverstone Citylink Transit Center will be discussed at a public meeting tonight by Kootenai County commissioners. The commissioners have already signed off on the project. But Chairman Brent Regan and his Republican Central Committee are voicing last-minute opposition to the project, claiming that it will become an “attractive nuisance” for crime and illegal activities in a nice area. The meeting is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. in the county administration building.
