Kochava CEO to speak at NIC graduation Friday
The North Idaho College 2017 Commencement Ceremony will be held in Christianson Gym at 10 a.m. Friday, May 12. About 250 graduation candidates are expected to walk this year out of about 950 eligible for graduation.
This year’s speaker at the commencement ceremony will be entrepreneur Charles Manning (pictured). Manning is the founder and CEO of Sandpoint-based Kochava, the leading mobile attribution analytics platform serving tier-one advertisers worldwide. For nearly 20 years, Manning has been creating technologies that use data for system optimization, ranging from business service management to information technology to attribution analytics. He began his career at Oracle and later held executive and C-Level positions at M-Code, Managed Objects, and PLAYXPERT.
Prior to founding Kochava, Manning founded PLAYXPERT, which started as a gaming technology platform. After licensing the PLAYXPERT technology to Razer, he built a team that focused its time on building engagement platforms for entrepreneurs and agencies. Upon realizing that there were no standard platforms that provided attribution or post-install analytics that were competent in mobile — Manning and his team built one: Kochava was born. The Kochava technology is now integrated with more than 2,500 publishers and is trusted by hundreds of brands including the biggest names in mobile gaming, news and media, and consumer goods.
Only guests with a ticket will be admitted to the ceremony. Guests are encouraged to arrive early for seating and parking. Campus streets will close down at 9:45 a.m. for the processional. Parking permits will not be needed the day of commencement. Those needing special accommodations should call NIC Disability Support Services at (208) 769-5947.
Those who cannot attend can view the commencement ceremony live at 10 a.m. on CDA-TV public access. The ceremony will also be streamed live in the TV lounges in the Edminster Student Union Building adjacent to the gym. In addition, DVDs of the ceremony will be available for $20 each following the ceremony by calling Andy Finney at (208) 769-3266 or andy.finney@nic.edu .
Question: I didn’t walk for either my community college or university graduation ceremonies. How about you?
