On the Waterfront —5.11.17

I snapped a photo of the front door of the old Bonsai Bistro, announcing that it is now closed (as of this week)

As I walked along the Lake Coeur d’Alene waterfront today, I saw:

  • Duane Hagadone and one of his employees surveying the Coeur d’Alene Resort Boardwalk. We exchanged “hellos.”
  • Sweet Lou’s, which has replaced the Grille from Ipanema in the Lakeside Condos, doing brisk business.
  • Walkabout riding a new bike thru McEuen Park en route to the Prairie Trail. We might have to start calling her Ride-About.
  • The newest reason for Christmas at the Lake to celebrate: Eat What You Want Day.”
  • The notice on the front of Bonsai Bistro that it is, indeed, closed.
  • Clark’s Jewelry advertising itself as a “Ladies Hardware Store.”
  • A sign on the old Johannes Jewelry that read: “Coming Soon: Coeur d’Alene Fine Jewelers.”
