Wrong about insurance

I noticed that Reps McMorris Rodgers and Labrador voted for the repeal of many of the protections of ACA by voting for AHCA (Trumpcare). Both probably hope to have long careers in public service to qualify for continued coverage under their very fine health insurance for themselves and families with provisions more like Obamacare.

Labrador even said other people don’t have a right to health insurance and that sicker or older folks should pay more for insurance, with no recognition for many years of coverage when they were healthy. To quote, “That is how insurance works.” Not exactly. Term life insurance bought when you are young has a low premium and stays the same when you renew. Buy later in life and it is more costly. That was the goal of Obamacare to get people insured earlier and continuously. Please consider whether they were for party or your health the next time you vote.
