CMR’s vote disgraceful

Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers voted with her party to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, thus beginning the process of throwing at least 24 million Americans (myself included) off their insurance, before even allowing for a CBO score. That she can justify this abdication of responsibility to her fellow citizens is a moral failure that should haunt her for the rest of her life. One would think, given her own child’s preexisting condition, that she would oppose gutting these protections for others. But that’s exactly what this bill does, all while she uses her child as a shield in order to lie about what she has done. The contempt that she has for her constituents is absolutely sickening.

A total of $880 billion in Medicaid reductions, all to fund a tax cut for the rich. The rest of us can eat cake.

The citizens of Spokane and the 5th District should be disgusted by Cathy McMorris Rodgers: her cynicism, her lies, her hypocrisy, her amorality, her ignorance and her cowardice. She is an utter disgrace to this country and to the legacy of Tom Foley.
