No place like Spokane

A retired college and seminary professor, ambassador (Spain, Germany, Poland, Greece, Israel, Mexico and the United Kingdom), and medical recorder (Children’s Hospital and Abington Hospital, both in Pennsylvania), I have served as an ombudsman, volunteer firefighter and on-call mental health counselor and chaplain at several hospitals and nursing homes both her and in Washington, D.C.

I have never experienced such neighborliness, kindness and willingness to share the load as I have in Spokane. I have had uniformed police officers change this for me, mail carriers warn me of rooftop hazards and kids I don’t even know bring in trash cans from the curb.

That ‘s why I am proud to call Spokane home! There’s no other place like it in this country or abroad. My wife, Evelyn, agrees.
