No Beggs, no Mumm

In 1850, French economist Frederic Bastiat described in his book “The Law” how socialists in his day were using democracy and majority rule to pervert the law and legally plunder property owners. It’s no different today.

Our City Council is legally plundering property owners and taxpayers by increasing property taxes, sales taxes (now 8.8 percent), utility bills, fees and regulatory expenses. Many hard-working families can’t afford these increases and are downsizing, leaving their homes, so the City Council can redistribute our wealth to support their sanctuary city agenda, provide their own tax-funded “affordable” housing and now 24/7 shelters.

The only way to protect our property rights and help stop this legalized theft is to not return to office Breean Beggs and Candace Mumm.
