Hoping for resignation

As a young man, I vividly recall watching the disgraced Richard Nixon departing the White House with his final wave, following his resignation. Now I, and I know millions of others, eagerly look forward to reliving that day as the current White House occupant will nearly certainly eventually replay that event as we watch this train wreck mess of a dysfunctional and corrupt administration take our beloved nation down a dark, dangerous, chaotic road.

As the Republican Party seems to be imploding on itself, if the Democrats don’t turn out in droves to vote next year to take back Congress to some semblance of sanity, they’ll surely deserve the fate that awaits them. Americans will continue to be snookered by Number 45 and the “new swamp,” because that’s exactly what’s happening.
