Reverse skinny roads

I recently drove down Sprague Avenue. with its new slow road diet and was immediately stuck behind a bus at every stop. In 50 years, I could always drive in the other lane to get around but not now. How is turning Spokane into Mayberry RFD progress? This is a lame and totally imbecilic idea!

The City Council wants to ruin North Monroe this same way. The only traffic on North Monroe will be buses and fire engines. Gee, what business wouldn’t want this? Simply put crossing lights at like at Manito Park or Hamilton in the Gonzaga area to fix this probelm if any. One could also try traffic cones on Monroe for a year to simulate the traffic and see if anyone foes down it again.

Why would any large company like Amazon want to relocate here when they’re sick of the go nowhere traffic in Seattle already?

I bet one could win a mayor’s race here by promising to switch our roads back to the way our forefathers designed them.
