Solution to racism

The Bible teaches that we are all one race created in God’s image and descended from one man and one woman. There is no true “black” or “white”; all are simply different shades of brown. In Acts 17:26, Paul tells the prejudiced Greeks that God has made all nations from “one blood.” Humans’ fallen, sinful nature means that we are predisposed to pride and hate, not humility and love. We see ourselves or our ethnic identity as better than others, not all equal and precious in the sight of God as the Bible teaches.

A world that believes so-called races evolved independently over millions of years just worsens the prejudice that afflicts humanity. The Bible teaches instead that we are fallen descendants of Adam and Eve, and we all need salvation in Jesus Christ.

Through his blood, he can make all peoples “one” in him, despite their wonderful, God-given differences. The only ultimate solution to racism and every other form of hate is found in God’s word.
