Tax plan time bomb

Donald Trump and the majority of congressional Republicans, similar to the former Reagan Administration, are desperate to achieve a political victory by passing a tax cut based upon Reagan’s strategy of “win it now and fix it later.”

In the past, Republicans opposed increasing the national debt. Yet the current Trump tax cut plan will increase the national debt by an estimated $1.7 trillion over 10 years. Are Trump and the Republicans supporting this plan willing to increase the national debt just to get a political victory by passing the tax cut plan, and to fix it later by reducing spending? Where would those spending cuts come from? Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security? If so, there is a time bomb buried in the tax cut plan.
