Frogs in a pot

I’m thankful that I’m as old as I am, but I worry for my kids and grandkids. In my opinion, this is no longer a democracy and much less a republic (as intended). It is an oligarchy (owned by the rich) and our Congress (both Democrat and Republican) are bought-and-paid-for by the wealthy. Have you noticed how those who are quitting and giving up really start to speak their minds? But those who remain, lie.

Further, none of the so-called news reporters are telling the whole story, either, so there is no way we can know the depth and breadth and depth of what’s happening — not the networks, not CNN, not Fox, not any of them. Misinformation and disinformation are the rule and we are all being fooled. Frogs in a pot. That’s what we are. Evidence to the contrary, I pray that I’m wrong.
