Try common sense

I believe in Second Amendment rights and guns for hunting. Also I love to fish. If we would make dynamite legal, I could really net more fish. And if America would donate to “NDA” (National Dynamite Association), we could raise billions to buy politicians and votes.

And really, it is about Second Amendment rights, too. Maybe terrorists with tanks are invading my home where assault rifles would not stop them, but dynamite would! Isn’t this how assault rifles stay legal (even though we do not use them for hunting anything but people)? So would we not be safer to have dynamite legal?

Sounds crazy, right? But apparently not to Congress and the NRA, which buys their votes. Sure, crazy people will still get them illegally, but it would be a lot harder (especially for children).

Let’s get back to common sense. Keep our rifles for hunting animals, and protect our family with those pistols, but let’s put a nationwide stop to assault rifles and bump stocks.

And while we are at it, you can’t get into state and national capital buildings without going through a metal detector. Aren’t our kids worth the same? Let’s have metal detectors at school. Common sense.
