Squirt gun vs. forest fire

As for any weapons ban, Congress will possibly outlaw bump stocks, but the real problem will still be the semiautomatic rifles - weapons of mass destruction - that in the hands of one man just killed or injured more people than are elected to both houses of Congress.

This is a problem; it is also a moral problem. More Americans have been killed by guns in our country than have been killed by all the wars of the 20th century. Are our federal regulators day dreaming as elementary children are targets, are they sleep walking through all the school shootings, or night club shootings - even the attacks on mass crowd venues?

A match may start the forest fire, but the flame of the match dies long before the fires destruction is put out.

Right now, we are using a toy squirt gun to put out the forest fire.
