Beggs accessible, responsive

I’m writing to support the election of Breean Beggs to the Spokane City Council. He is one of my two current council members, and I strongly want to retain him in that position. I have worked with Mr. Beggs on several occasions since he was first appointed to the council, and I have found him to be incredibly competent, very responsive and a problem solver.

I am impressed at his ability to run a community meeting, as he is calm and open to all ideas but manages to keep the focus on the problem being discussed. He quickly learns names, and it is very powerful to be called on by name at a neighborhood meeting. I think this helps build trust and inclusivity.

Breean is very available and responds quickly to inquiries. He is committed to solving problems, such as sidewalk repair and property crime, and is working hard to find solutions and including all of us in his district in the discussion. I’m pretty sure that’s the sign of a good leader. I encourage all voters of Council District 2 to vote for Breean Beggs for City Council.
