Pace at it again

Ed Pace is at it again. When he disparaged time-saving, traffic-busting roundabouts, because “we are not Europe,” I chuckled. I wonder if Ed has ever traveled to Europe? When he said government shouldn’t be involved in child care, that child care should be left to churches, I cringed, remembering pastors, priests and orphanages of the past.

Ed now thinks unvaccinated children should be allowed to head to school amid an outbreak. Can Ed really be this dense, or is he purposely going against conventional wisdom to lock in votes from the “we know better than experts” demographic? Look, don’t vaccinate your kid — your choice — but your kid doesn’t get to attend during an outbreak without vaccines,

Thems the rules in Warshington, y’all, period.

Vaccines have been found to be safe and effective after decades of research by numerous medical, government and nonprofit organizations. But you folks who don’t buy into “science,” who side with awesome screen starlet Jenny McCarthy, can, of course, opt out of protecting your kid from potentially debilitating disease, because it is your right, as a mommy grizzly.

I imagine grizzly sows don’t have a clue about vaccines either.
