Pace proposal a disgrace

Spokane Valley City Councilman Ed Pace just put out a proposal that is against the law. He proposes to strip public health officials from making determinations about whether a child may be excluded from schools during a disease outbreak or epidemic. He wants to strip school officials from making decisions about curriculum and teaching methods. He wants to strip minors of confidentiality regarding health care and repeal protections for transgender people as adopted by the State Human Rights Commission.

Unless Mr. Pace has some education in health care or psychology, he should educate himself instead putting out a proposal like this.

I think it is a disgrace to the people of Spokane Valley that the City Council even allowed a proposal like that. What happens if the city gets sued, are they paying that money out of the same fund that they paid Mr. Jackson when they fired him?? By the way, we still do not know why Mr. Jackson was fired but the money was paid by the citizens of Spokane Valley. Election is coming up so please folks, take advantage of your privilege and vote, this one is a very important one.
