Thanks, Mark Rypien

Thank you to Mark Rypien for exposing his deepest inner demons and his and his family’s fight against those demons (“Shining some light on his darkest days,” March 30, 2018). It takes a strong person to show themselves in this manner. Hopefully other people follow his lead and seek professional help if needed.

I admired him as a player and even more so as a guiding light for others to follow. This exposure can help many in our community. Thanks again for exposing your soul for all to see.

  • We cannot accept more than one letter a month from the same writer.
