Tom Konis for assessor

To put someone in the assessor’s office, we need a person who is a principled individual, honest and sincere about performing the duties of a public official. That person is Tom Konis.

Tom Konis has more than two decades of experience in the assessor’ office. He has the knowledge necessary to carry out the work to be a productive assessor beginning the first day he becomes the Spokane County assessor.

This is the kind of position where it’s absolutely necessary that you understand all areas of the assessment/taxation of real and personal property. As an example: There are nearly 300 statutes which govern what the assessor must do or what cannot be done. beginning with the state Constitution, Revised Code of Washington and the Washington Administrative Code. These laws are in place to protect the property owners and that’s exactly what Tom Konis has been doing for more than 20 years and will continue to do.

Tom Konis has successfully completed all the Washington State Department Revenue Assessment/Appraisal courses in conjunction with the International Association of Assessment Officers.

We need to keep that kind of knowledge and experience in the Spokane County Assessor’s Office. Vote for Tom Konis.
