Support North Monroe Business

Last week I went to the Franz Bakery Outlet on North Monroe. I asked the employee at checkout if the street closing had affected their business, and she said greatly. Even though signs on Post Street are well marked to help find the Monroe Street businesses, she said people just don’t want to bother.

I would like to encourage people to be kind enough to continue shopping there. It’s only two blocks over from Post Street, and they would appreciate your business during this challenging time. Let’s help them out, as well as the other businesses affected by the temporary closure. Let’s not penalize them just because the roads are being improved. And the bonus is you can turn onto a small section of Monroe to access the Franz parking lot without there being any traffic!
